November Meeting

We had a good turnout for our first meeting and I'm looking forward to continuing where we left off. We got a chance to see a couple of the websites that people were working on or involved with at their organizations. I'm hoping to spotlight a few more this time. The discussion around the websites raised potential subjects for meetins as we go forward. Topics included RSS feeds, templates, Joomla 1.5 migration, blogging tools, enewsletters and components and modules for starters.

Invitation

If you are a developer, Joomla site owner or webmaster, or a user of Joomla there's lots of opportunities to get questions answered and to learn new things that you can do in Joomla so please join us for the meetings. The Tech Foundation made us feel right at home and beverages and snacks will be provided for the meetings.

Start A Discussion

Also, I had a chance to configure Mojoblog a bit more and it is now available for you to post your thoughs about the meetings and other Joomla related issues. To post you need to register on the site. To register for an account please click here.

Joomla Local Resources Directory and Jobline

The site includes a business directory based on the SOBI2 component. Registered users can add their listings so that we can help create a more robust ecosystem for the local Joomla community.

You can also post jobs using the jobline component which is also availabel to registered users.

If you know other Joomla users please send them a link and let them know about the meetings.

Thanks,

Scott
