June Meeting Announcement
The June meeting will be held on Thursday, June 12th from 7-9pm at the Tech Foundation in Harvard Square. The meetings are held in the 3rd floor conference room at 30 Brattle St., Harvard Square, Cambridge. To register please click here . Registration is not required but does help us plan for the meeting.
I've installed a few new things on the website that we can use to develop the site further. I've installed Docman and Fireboard Forums. If you have topics you want to put on the agenda, please contact me: click here. You can also post ideas for topics that you would like to see us cover in our meetings to the Meeting Agendas Forum.
I've created some new forum categories including one for posting ideas about meeting agendas. I've also created one for How-To and Project related posts.
I installed a second forum tools for testing and review purposes. It is a new project named "Agora". The forums aren't as evolved as Fireboard but it may be a good tool for some applications. It is currently listed on the main menu (right side). Check it out. I will create a "Reviews" category in the Fireboard Forums as well so that we can review tools like this one....
You'll need to login to try Agora and to post to the Fireboard Forum....
