There didn't seem to be a better place to post this, but it would be very helpful if date-relevant postings were done in order of most recent first. When I'm looking at the Calendar, for example, it's frustrating to see old announcements at the top of the list and have to scroll to the bottom to find the current information. As the list of announcements, dates, items, etc. grows, that will get even more frustrating.

Hmm.. I am not certain if this is the best setting for users who might stumble upon the thread. IMHO the thread should be chronological.That said, I support Claire's view about calendars and announcements - just not for all forum threads

you've got me thinking about this; i definitely agree on calendar and announcements, which was actually was what prompted the request. i guess i could go either way on forum topics, although as they grow, sometimes the more recent threads are what you are looking for.
